Welcome to Jacksons Fishmongers, one of the UK’s oldest fishmongers, where we provide premium and award-winning fresh and smoked seafood products to our customers. We strive to bring you the finest and most sustainable seafood caught by local fisherman or trusted suppliers from around the globe.

Our heritage runs deep in the local Brixham fishing industry, starting with Mr Cecil Jackson back in 1922. Cecil worked tirelessly alongside his nephew George Endacott, who then brought his son and grandsons into the business today. Our team has a wealth of experience and expertise, gained over four generations, ensuring we select and supply fish that only meets our strict standards for quality and sustainability.

At Jacksons, we strive to cater for every customer needs, ensuring we have a vast selection of products, the majority of which are still produced in house at our Newton Abbot premises. We believe that seafood should be accessible to all and that is why we provide options to cater for everyone from adventurous chefs right through to those who just want a simple meal at the end of the day.

With accredited Master Fishmonger Matthew still at the helm, alongside sons Lewis and Calvin, we’re committed to treating our customers like part of our family. That’s why we only offer the freshest of fish for nationwide delivery in eco-friendly packaging. We also have a great range of shellfish and smoked seafood produced in-house, using the same techniques and kilns from the 1960’s. By using these traditional techniques, the Jacksons team ensures that you will not find a long list of nasty ingredients in our in-house products, keeping things simple and healthy.

We work closely with our local suppliers, trying to ensure that our raw produce is responsibly and sustainably sourced and minimising our food’s carbon footprint.
